In your current job you have a leading role in the software design and development. You get satisfaction when high quality code is delivered to customers. You strongly believe in modern agile methodologies and you are an active and diligent practitioner. Working with best tools and technologies makes you perform better in your job, but you think that there are no excuses to get the job done. Large-scale systems are in your sweet spot. You appreciate JVM as the platform, but not necessarily the Java as a language of choice. You want to start something new and finish it to the completion. You know that RAM is the new disk. Your professional knowledge is widely known and people want to work with you.
Requirements
- Very strong hands-on Java/JVM development background
- Hands-on experience on other JVM based languages such as Scala or Clojure

Hands-on experience on any modern functional language seen as an advantage
- Deep understanding of different data storage strategies such as relational, KV, document-oriented etc.
- Experience on modern big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Storm, Spark, VoltDB and associated concepts and design patterns
- Proven software design skills and ability communicate the design and reasons behind it.
- Proven experience in commercial grade software that has been shipped to customers successfully.
- Experience in developing clustered, large-scale systems with low-latency requirements
- Practitioner of agile methodologies
- Previous experience in a U.S. or European software vendor seen as an advantage
- Singaporean or PR
